Standard Continuity is a small firm in San Francisco. We build private systems for people who want their knowledge, records, computing, and power to keep working when the things those depend on stop.
The thesis
Modern knowledge is compact. Access to it is fragile.
A current laptop can hold working language models, a regional map set, decades of technical manuals, and every record a family actually needs; the whole of it fits in a carry-on. What it can't do alone is stay useful.
Source quality, privacy, power, redundancy, recovery, and testing are the hard parts, and the discipline to keep at them for years is the firm.
